General liability
It is important to protect yourself from possible future financial expenses and
obligations, which cannot always be predicted, but can reach high amounts. The activities
of a company can pose a threat to other people's health and cause damage to their
material property. Even if caused unintentionally, the company will be obliged to
pay out compensation for damage incurred to third parties (the criterion of objective
liability)
Even the ownership of a certain type of property can represent such a risk. In the
case of objects or parts of a building falling on passers-by or third parties material
property. If damage occurs, the owner is obliged to compensate the damaged party.
Pursuant to the provisions of the Building Law, the owner of the building is responsible
for its maintenance in such a way that, during its lifespan, all of its technical
properties are preserved, and in particular, its safety for the environment and

insurance policy.
This type of insurance covers extra-contractual liability to natural and legal entities
for damage caused by death, injury or health damage, as well as damage or loss of
a third party property.
It covers liability for damage arising out of the insured's business activity, property
ownership, legal relationship or out of a certain feature which may be a source
of danger, up to a limit specified in the policy.
The insurance premium and amount are concluded separately for third parties, and
separately for company employees, depending on the subject's activity.
This insurance covers events occurring in the Republic of Croatia within the agreed
period of time.
