MTPL Plus

Under this insurance policy, the driver is entitled to bodily injury indemnity even if the driver has caused the accident.

Under a motor third party liability insurance policy, a driver causing a traffic accident is not entitled to personal injury damages.

For this reason, as part of our comprehensive insurance program, we created additional cover for drivers which can be added to the Motor Third Party Liability Insurance policy.

At a minimum premium surcharge, you can insure the driver – the person who is always behind the wheel!

MTPL Plus cover

MTPL Plus entitles the driver who is responsible for an accident to compensation:

  • In the case of proven bodily injury loss [violation of the right to life, and physical and mental health]. The insurance amount per loss event will be EUR 25,000.00, calculated in Croatian currency (HRK) according to the middle exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank on the day of payment.
  • For funeral expenses. Standard expenses for the policyholder's funeral, according to the local traditions in the place of accident will be up to EUR 3,000.00, calculated in Croatian currency (HRK) according to the middle exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank on the day of payment.
